How To Fix a Lawnmower With The Self Propelled Not Working

If the self propelled feature on your lawnmower is not working, then the first thing you should check is if the cable that runs from the handle bar down to the transmission box is damaged. This cable overtime can get damaged to due mechanical wear and tear. Once you have located the cable, look out for any signs of rips and tears. If the cable has rips and tears, it cant make the transmission box drive the wheels properly, so it will need replacing. As well as checking the cable that operates the self propelled wheels, you should also make sure the hooking mechanism, were the cable is attached is not broken or unattached from the cable.

If the cable and the hooking mechanism is not damaged or faulty, remove the transmission cover and check if there is any leaves or wooded twigs or grass that can make the transmission clog itself. These things can cause the transmission to not drive the self propelled mechanism, as they can prevent the engine to drive the wheels.

If the transmission is not clogged up, make sure the there is no excess in-between the wheels and gears, that are related to the self propelled mechanism. Sometimes there can be grass that can get on top of the gears, or stuck in the sides of the wheels which can stop the wheels from spinning.

Also check if the blade underneath the lawnmower is moving freely and remove any excess grass around it, to make the blade work to its optimal performance level. You are probably thinking to yourself that what is a lawnmower blade got to do with the self propelled mechanism? Well, some lawnmowers that have self propelled wheels, are driven by the blade.

How To Save Game Data From PS1 games on PS2 Console

Many are aware that both the ps2 fat and slimline have backward compatibility with ps1 games, this means that you can play your old classics, without owning a psone console. When you get to a point in a ps1 game that will take you ages to reach it again, if you played the game again, it is ideal to save the progress you have made onto a memory card.

Instructions:

1)Insert a Playstation 1 memory card into the "Memory Card" flap located on the front of the console, above the controller port. Please note that you cant use a ps2 memory card to save ps1 games onto it, i have tried it and it wont work, so dont bother because you will be wasting your time. 

2)Power on your ps2 console and insert your ps1 game, then reset it, the ps1 game will automatically load, if not, you can find it at the "Browser" screen. 

3)When you want to save your progress made in the ps1 game, select the memory card and it will be saved.

How To Fix NAT Router is Too Strict In GTA IV For PS3

How To Fix a Pushed Pressed In Speaker Dust Cap Using a Hoover

If the dust cap of a speaker has been pressed in, the dust cap will look ugly and will make the speaker not look at its best. However, if the dust cap of a speaker is pressed in by accident, it it will not effect the performance of the speaker itself. If the dust cap is cracked, that can cause dust to enter into the voice coil, which can cause it to stiffen up, that can reduce the drivers performance. Anyways, if you dislike your speaker because of the dust cap is pressed in, you can repair it using your household vacuum cleaner.

To unsuck the speaker dust cap, connect the vacuum cleaner to an electrical outlet and the switch it on. Then switch on the hoover and if possible, reduce the power of the hoovers suction power, as too much power can tear the dust cap and make the situation worse. Hold the hoover nozzle and then place it on the area were the dust cap is pressed in. Hopefully the area of the dust cap that is pressed in should be fixed. When it is fixed, turn off the power, this is to turn off the hoover. Dont pull the nozzle off the dust cap when the hoover is turned on because youre likely to tear the dust cap, so make sure you remember that!

If for some reason you dont have hoover that is available, if you have masking tape, you can use that to repair the pressed in dust cap. Dont use tape that is super strong, like Duct tape, as that will tear dust cap. Tear off a sensible amount of masking tape off the role, then place it on the area were the dust cap has been pushed in. Then slowly peel off the masking tape and the dented dust cap will be fixed!!

How To Unbrick a Nokia N97

If the firmware that is currently running on your Nokia n97 is bricked, it means that parts of the firmware are missing or damaged, therefore your Nokia n97 will not turn on. A mobile phone can get bricked when it disconnects itself from a computer, during a firmware update. Once a phone is bricked, you may thing that the phone is never going to work, well that is not true.

To unbrick your Nokia n97, you should apply a hard reset to the device before carrying out a further diagnostic. A hard reset will refresh the firmware and it will try to repair any damaged firmware files, without having to reflash the firmware. To hard reset your Nokia n97, simply hold these button: shift + space + backspace + power button. Continue to hold these button until the Nokia logo come displays on the screen.

If a hard reset didnt unbrick the Nokia n97, then you would need to reflash the firmware on the Nokia n97. Reflashing the firmware on any mobile phone basically means that the damaged firmware is going to be removed and replaced with new firmware. All you need to do is download the flash files for your product code and rm model, using Navifirm. Then using a usb cable and JAF to flash the Nokia n97 firmware, select the firmware files, tick dead usb mode and factory setting and then hit the flash button and the process will begin.
